Manuals

How each part of Business Assistant works, page by page. Read a learning path to be taught; read a manual to look something up.

Business Assistant basics

How Business Assistant keeps a company's records, from setup and master data to documents and the entries posting writes, and how to find your way around.

Sales

Customers, agreed prices and payment terms, sales quotes, orders, invoices, credit memos and return orders, what posting a sale writes, and taking customers' payments.

Purchasing

Vendors, purchase orders, invoices, credit memos and return orders, what receiving and invoicing write, and paying vendors.

Inventory

Items and their units of measure, locations and transfers, the item journal and stock counts, and how stock is costed and reaches the general ledger.

Assembly

Making items from other items, as a bakery bakes bread from flour: assembly BOMs (the recipes), assembly orders (the bakes), and what posting an assembly order does to stock, cost and the general ledger.

General ledger

The chart of accounts, journals, posting setup and VAT, account schedules and budgets, and closing the year.

The Assistant

The chatbot built into Business Assistant, which answers questions from the company's data, prepares actions and changes for you to confirm, keeps reminders, and offers help when you need it.
